Paul came out late at night to replace my leaking water heater. We weren't home. He came, I opened the garage from afar, he removed the old heater, and replaced it with a beautiful model. I am certain it was not what he wanted to be doing at that time of night. We came home to a clean home, rusty water cleaned up, and an awesome water heater correctly installed. Working with Paul we were able to route a new gas line from the main meter through a finished basement to the kitchen area to provide gas to the cooking area. Signs your toilet needs work
Most of these are one worn part. A few mean it is time for a new toilet.

Running and leaking toilets
A toilet that runs or refills by itself is wasting water around the clock, and it is nearly always a worn flapper or fill valve inside the tank. Both are quick to replace. Water around the base is different: it usually means the seal under the toilet has failed or the bolts holding it to the floor have worked loose, and left alone it soaks the floor underneath. We find which it is and fix that, instead of swapping parts until the problem goes away.

Toilet installation, set solid and sealed
When a toilet is cracked, worn out or simply the wrong one for the room, we put in a new one. We check the flange it bolts to, set the toilet level and solid with a new seal, and fit a new supply line, replacing the shut-off valve if it is worn. New toilets sold in Colorado have to meet the WaterSense standard, so a new one uses far less water a flush than the toilet it replaces.
Repair it or replace it?
Most toilets are worth repairing. Flappers, fill valves, handles and seals are inexpensive and a toilet bowl can last for decades. A crack in the porcelain is the exception, because it cannot be repaired safely, and a very old toilet that uses several gallons a flush is often worth replacing anyway. We tell you which way we would go and why, with a clear price for both before any work starts.

Common questions.
Why does my toilet keep running?
Usually because the flapper at the bottom of the tank no longer seals, or the fill valve does not shut off. Both are worn parts that are inexpensive to replace.
There is water around the base of my toilet. What does that mean?
Most often the seal under the toilet has failed or the toilet has come loose on the floor. Turn off the valve behind the toilet and call us, because water that keeps seeping in there damages the floor.
Can you install a toilet I bought myself?
Yes. We can install a toilet you have already picked out, or supply one for you.
Do you work on commercial restroom flush valves?
Yes. We repair and replace Sloan and Zurn flush valves on commercial toilets and urinals.
