gthsmh During our kitchen upgrade, my wife wanted Natural Gas cooktop to replace our current electric cooktop/oven. Working with Paul we were able to route a new gas line from the main meter through a finished basement to the kitchen area to provide gas to the cooking area. Completely satisfied with the work performed, price paid, permitting experience, and overall work preformed. Also used Paul to replace the pressure regulators for one to the main house and one to the sprinkler system. Again, completely satisfied.

Find it first, then dig
The supply line from the well head to a Peyton house can be a long buried run. When it freezes or starts to leak, it does it somewhere you cannot see, and digging on a guess is the expensive way to find out where. We diagnose the problem properly before anyone starts digging, and you get the price up front. If finding the fault is going to take real time, we quote that time first.

When the pressure will not hold steady
Most properties here are on a private well with a pressure tank, not city water. When a pressure tank starts to short-cycle, the pump kicks on and off far too often and the pressure at the tap jumps around. Well water in Peyton also carries sediment and grit, which fouls valves, and a heavy load of minerals, which scales up fixtures and the parts of a water heater or boiler that do the heating.
Propane, altitude and outbuildings
Plenty of Peyton homes heat with propane instead of natural gas, and propane equipment needs the right setup for our elevation, water heaters and boilers alike. It is one of the things we look at on a visit. Then there are the outbuildings. Hose bibs and exposed lines on an unheated outbuilding freeze in a cold snap, and we repair those as well. Why does my well pump keep turning on and off?
That is called short-cycling, and it usually points to the pressure tank. It is one of the most common things we are called out for in Peyton. We test the tank before recommending a repair or a new one.
The buried line from my well may be leaking. Will you have to dig up the yard?
